Keep Dalton Whitfield Beautiful's Yard of the Month recognizes Whitfield citizens who help create a more vibrant and beautiful community by maintaining exceptionally clean and attractive properties. Yards of the Month are chosen on the 20th of each month and are chosen out of one of seven districts. Any yard in Whitfield County may be nominated at any time. The same property cannot receive more than one award in a 12-month calendar period. The winner of the Yard of the Month will be provided with a decorative yard sign for display indicating their winning yard and a $50 gift card from Fiddleheads (donated by Fiddleheads Garden Center), as well as a posting and photo on our community website and social media. Yards are judged based on the upkeep of the lawn, landscaping and flower beds, walkways and driveways, and aesthetics.
